Charles E. Carey and Son began in the 1940s
as a mill workshop, producing some of the finest quality wood work in Nassau at the time. Our founder, Charles
Carey Sr. extended the name from Charles E. Carey to Charles E. Carey & Son in 1951 when his son Charles Carey Jr
aka 'Sonny' began working with him.
In the 1960s the company transitioned from a mill workshop to an
architectural hardware store. Our father Sonny began teaching himself the locksmith trade and would travel to stores
and homes to service their locks. Over the many years our family owned company has served the architectural community
by providing hardware schedules and expertise. We pride ourselves with being knowledgeable about the brands we
represent and strive to provide quality products and service with high value.
In the 1990s the company
expanded the architectural hardware lines into plumbing lines like Toto and Delta. To date we represent over 30
factories.
